Itinerary
  • Day 1: Las Vegas to Zion

Say goodbye to the bright lights of Las Vegas as you swap city buzz for natural wonder. Welcome to Zion National Park, one of Utah’s finest. Here, towering red cliffs reach for the sky and emerald pools glisten under the sun. Take it slow with a gentle stroll to the Emerald Pools or wade into the Narrows on a river hike through the slot canyons. As evening rolls in, settle back at camp and enjoy a relaxed BBQ under the stars.

*If you are interested in hiking to Angel’s Landing in Zion, please note that although it’s not advertised as part of this tour, there is time to do this hike. The chain’s part (last .5 mile) now requires all hikers to have a permit. If you are interested in hiking Angel’s Landing, please see here for more information about how to obtain a permit. You may hike up to Scout’s Lookout without a permit.*

  • Day 2: Bryce Canyon National Park

Today’s a short but spectacular drive as you climb to 8,000 feet and arrive at the surreal landscape of Bryce Canyon. The amphitheatre of towering sandstone hoodoos (those curious spires) is like nothing else on earth. You can wander the rim for stunning views or head down into the canyon for a closer look. Back at camp, soothe tired legs with a soak in the outdoor hot tub, then toast marshmallows around the campfire as the night sky puts on a show.

  • Day 3/4: Arches & Canyonlands National Parks

Welcome to red rock country. With two days based near Moab, you’ll have time to explore both Arches and Canyonlands National Parks in all their desert glory. Don’t miss a hike up to Delicate Arch, or opt for something a little more adventurous with a guided sunset Hummer tour or canyoneering adventure. In Canyonlands, watch where the Green and Colorado Rivers meet in a landscape that feels more Martian than American. This is also Butch Cassidy country, and you’ll hear tales of the Wild West as you explore this adventure capital.

  • Day 5: Monument Valley

Today, you're off to one of the most iconic spots in the American Southwest: Monument Valley. If the views look familiar, it’s because countless Westerns were filmed here. But the land is also sacred Navajo territory. You’ll enjoy an included 4x4 Navajo-guided tour, soaking up the stories, legends, and breathtaking scenery. Tonight, you’ll camp right on the rim. Expect star-filled skies and a front-row seat for an unforgettable sunrise.

  • Day 6: Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend & Grand Canyon South Rim

It’s an early start if you fancy an optional visit to Antelope Canyon – the world’s most photographed slot canyon – before continuing to Horseshoe Bend for that perfect panoramic shot. From here, you’ll make your way to the Grand Canyon, with a stop at a traditional Navajo trading post en route. Once there, you can take a helicopter ride for a bird’s eye view, stroll the rim at sunset, or just sit back at one of the cafés and let the vastness sink in.

  • Day 7: Route 66 and Las Vegas

On your way back to Vegas, you'll swing by a stretch of classic Route 66—a nostalgic pit stop for road trip lovers. Then it’s back to Sin City, with plenty of time to relax by the pool or head out for one final night on the Strip. It’s yours to explore.

  • Day 8: Death Valley National Park

Say goodbye to Vegas once again as you head west into Death Valley National Park. You’ll be treated to a guided tour with stops at all the big names: Zabriskie Point, Badwater Basin, Artist’s Palette, Devil’s Golf Course, and more. After a scenic picnic lunch, the journey continues to Bishop, a charming old Gold Rush town where you’ll stay overnight.

  • Day 9: Tioga Pass to Yosemite

If weather permits, today’s drive takes you across the Tioga Pass – one of the most scenic routes in California. Along the way, you’ll pass Olmsted Point, Lake Tenaya, Tuolumne Meadows, and the eerie salt formations of Mono Lake. Once inside Yosemite National Park, visit the valley floor, stop by the Visitor Centre, and get your bearings for tomorrow’s full day of adventure.
Note: In early/late season, if the Tioga Pass is closed, the route will divert through Lake Isabella instead of Bishop.

  • Day 10: Yosemite National Park

Today’s yours to explore one of America’s most beloved national parks. Choose from a variety of walks – from gentle riverside rambles to more strenuous hikes with epic views. Or, join a guided tour to see highlights like Bridalveil Falls, Lower Yosemite Falls, El Capitan, and the legendary Half Dome. Prefer something slower paced? Rent a bike or relax along the banks of the Merced River – this is Yosemite at your pace.

  • Day 11: San Francisco / Departure

Your road trip finishes in style as you head to the City by the Bay – San Francisco. Enjoy a guided tour taking in the city’s icons: Pier 39, Fisherman’s Wharf, Haight-Ashbury, and the Golden Gate Bridge. The tour ends around 5pm, but the memories of this epic Southwest and California journey will stay with you for years to come.
