  • Day 1: Halifax

    Welcome to Halifax, a lively coastal city where history meets modern maritime charm. After arriving at Halifax Airport, collect your rental car and head for your centrally located hotel. After checking in at your accommodation, take some time to explore the waterfront. Wander along the harbourfront boardwalk, visit the historic Citadel, or relax at one of the city’s many excellent seafood restaurants.

    If you’d like more time to soak up the city’s atmosphere, consider adding an extra night to your trip. With its thriving arts scene, fascinating museums, and stunning harbour views, Halifax has plenty to offer.

  • Day 2: Halifax to Moncton

    Your road trip begins with a scenic drive along the Bay of Fundy, home to the highest tides in the world. Along the way, stop at the Joggins Fossil Cliffs, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you’ll find one of the most complete fossil records of life from 300 million years ago.
    Continue into New Brunswick and on to Moncton, where you’ll check into your downtown hotel for the night. If time allows, take a stroll along the Riverfront Park or experience the natural wonder of the Tidal Bore, where the powerful tides push waves upriver in a spectacular display.
    Driving time: 2.5–3 hours

  • Day 3: Moncton to Saint John

    Start the day with a visit to the Hopewell Rocks, one of the most iconic sights in the Maritimes. These massive, flowerpot-shaped rock formations have been sculpted by the relentless power of the Bay of Fundy tides, and at low tide, you can walk right on the ocean floor beneath them.
    Continue your journey through Fundy National Park, a stunning landscape of waterfalls, dense forests, and rugged coastline. Arrive in Saint John, Canada’s oldest incorporated city, where you’ll settle in for a two-night stay. In the evening, explore the historic Uptown district, home to charming shops, lively pubs, and excellent seafood restaurants.

  • Day 4: Day Trip to St. Andrews by-the-Sea

    Today, take a short drive to the charming coastal town of St. Andrews by-the-Sea, a place filled with history and natural beauty.
    Spend the morning on a whale-watching tour, where you’ll have the chance to see humpbacks, minkes, and possibly even the rare North Atlantic right whale. In the afternoon, take time to explore the town at your own pace.     Return to Saint John in the evening.

  • Day 5: Saint John to Digby

    Spend the afternoon exploring Digby and its surrounding area. Visit the waterfront for a scenic walk, or take a short drive to Annapolis Royal, one of the oldest European settlements in North America. If you’re a seafood lover, this is the perfect place to indulge in a plate of fresh Digby scallops.

    Driving time: Short transfer + ferry (2.5 hours total)

  • Day 6: Digby to Western Shore

    Today’s journey takes you through the lush Annapolis Valley, rich in history and natural beauty. Along the way, stop at three significant historic sites:
    Fort Anne National Historic Site – Canada’s first national historic site and the location of many conflicts between French, English, and Scottish settlers.

  • Day 8: Western Shore to Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island

    Settle into your Charlottetown accommodation for a two-night stay and explore the historic downtown, known for its lively arts scene and excellent seafood restaurants.

  • Day 9: Exploring Prince Edward Island
